It takes more than 20 minutes to regain focus on a task after a user has been distracted by a notification.
Focus mode
As part of a series of design sprints, we came up with a new Android mode that will allow users to dumb down their phones for a pre-selected period of time.
Just bump your phone with a physical token on your desk, and a Pomodoro timer will overtake your screen for the next N minutes.
Only urgent phone calls or SMS will get through, nothing else.
Now, focus!
